Although yet again, the team failed in its biggest targets of the year in RoTM and the Kangaroo Tour. Season 50 can go down as the most successful year in the team's long and not so illustrious history.
Not only have we managed to surpass the 1000pts mark for the first time over a season, we have managed a solid 5 wins over the season over the year after taking victory in Alkmaar - Alkmaar, which is a joint record for the team.
The season itself is still not over for the team, with one last race in Toulouse which gives Fitzgerald - who currently rides in the St George Cross Jersey donating the best English rider on the OCM Tour, a good opportunity to score yet more points.
The team better not do too well as we could soon find ourselves in some very unfamiliar territory and the potential to race some new races, potentially being the Volta ao Porto, a race which has normally eluded the team when they've previously been on a good run of form...

I hope he does as well. I think we have a good chance in Guadix GP which should allow us to race the Volta as well, I was planning on certainly racing Berliner G3 and probably Amager as well so DP will not be ideal but first we need to get there :) So missing it may be a blessing in disguise
Yes, I'm thinking about having a pop at the sprint jersey, with a huge dollop of luck! - I am always tempted by Vejle-København, so maybe a bit of a compromise on DP going into the tour. Usually I choose the one day races instead because there's the Amager, Berliner G3, and Brisbane River which are high TQ.
A nice run of results for Fitzgerald to take the National jersey - hope he keeps it up.
Thanks! Fitzgerald has really done well recently in beating riders like Hadaway! I do need some work before the Volta since I lose 88pts beforehand. Do you have any plans to race the Volta?
Nice win today from Fitzgerald - good luck in the Volta!
